2 cans light or dark kidney beans, drained, rinsed
4 tbsp light brown sugar, unpacked
26 oz. (1 jar) Bertolli Marinara with Burgundy Wine
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (more or less depending on how spicy you like it)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chili powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp dried parsley
2 c water
2 (11.5 oz.) cans V8 Low Sodium Spicy Hot Vegetable juice
1 lb. Jennie-O extra lean ground turkey

Directions:

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground turkey until no longer pink. 
2. Add turkey to crock pot.  Mix in all other ingredients to turkey in crock pot.  Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6 hours. 
 
Yields 12 servings, serving size 1 cup

Additional serving suggestions (add additional points for each):
-top with 1 tbsp fat free cheddar cheese
-top with 1 tbsp sour cream
