2 1/2 extra lean ground turkey
1 c oats (I used quick oats)
1/2 c egg beaters (or 2 large eggs)
1 tsp chili powder
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder


1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine turkey, spices, salt and pepper.
3. Once combined well, add in oats and egg. Mix until well combined.
4. Scoop out tablespoon sized balls of turkey mixture onto prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake for 8 minutes then flip each meatball.  Return to oven and cook an additional 7-8 minutes or until cooked through.
Note: You can eat these right after baking. They are delicious. However, after baking, I usually throw them in the crock pot with my favorite BBQ sauce and let them simmer in there for a few hours. This is perfect for parties and much better than buying frozen meatballs!
They are also a perfect addition in marinara sauce with spaghetti.
